Bender becomes the 31st century's newest diet guru, and before long President Nixon appoints him czar of the President's Council on Physical Fitness. But too much power in the wrong robots hands is a dangerous thing, and the physically tired and huddled masses of New New York City are soon yearning to be free of Bender's tyrannical exercise regimen.

This is the only one I own. There is a scene where Bender is posing as Amy by wearing her pink sweatsuit and she is hiding behind a chair in her underware. I think it's a little out of character for her to hide behind a chair. She's the type of girl who likes to flaunt it when given the chance.

The overall plot seems to take some points from a Pharoh to Remember with Bender acting as an amoral jerk. Some people seem to dislike Pharoah to remember for this very reason, but I think that single episode turned me into a Futurama fan, so I have a soft spot for it. I got quite a kick out of this.

I thought it was interesting that the transport tubes played a role in the subplot. I believe in the commentaries on the pilot episode David Cohen makes a remark that the tubes were going to play a more prominent role on the show - it turns out they never really did. I don't think they are even seen in more than a couple of episodes. I thought it was interesting that the transport tubes were part of the overall story.

There were also a couple of characters introduced, at least if they've ever been featured in any other previous comic books I am not aware of them. There is a anthropomorphic horse, apparently a memeber of the crew, named Clyde, and a "caption-bot".

After having just read it again I remembered why I had intended to get all of them. Are the rest of them of the same general quality?
