Post here about MythBusters!

In case you didn't know, MythBusters is an American pop science television program on the Discovery Channel starring special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, who use their skills and expertise to test the validity of various rumors and urban legends in popular culture. And I've said this before, but I'll say it again--anytime the experiments involve dead pigs, hilarity is not far away.

OMG, that was amazing. When they blew up the big truck, that was some amazing footage.

And poor Tory, stuck inside the other truck trying to break up the concrete all by himself...LOL

If you watch the footage closely, it looks like the truck blew in half, one end shooting one way and the other end going the other. But there was nothing to be found...totally cool!

Yeah, I think it might've been the first season. I've only seen it once, but they had a helluva time trying to get the ducks to quack. Adam's there holding a duck and yelling, "Quack, damn you!"

Ahh yes coming back to me a little.

I think may favorite episode was when they were testing to see if you can make a rocket out of salami. Ohh man was funny and cool.

My two favorites are trying to split an arrow with an arrow (which HAS been done)
and the toy car VS the real car race.....

Great show!!!

Oh...and the guy getting blown up on the toilet!!! LOL GREAT!!!

The good one was when they try escaping from a car underwater with the windows closed. They also tried folding paper more then 7 times

Ya they filled an entire airplane hanger with this huge piece of paper. That would take like 1000 pencils to write on

It's a popular belief that if you fall from a high place, like a bridge, into water, throwing a hammer or something heavy in the water before you hit will break the surface tension so you won't die on impact.

It doesn't work.

Pigs are used predominantly in forensics as the physiology of a pig is very close to humans.....

I had to take a summer school class because I was a bad kid in high school and flunked 9th-grade Science...my teacher was a former surgeon and he had us dissect fetal pigs. It was really interesting! One of the groups had a defective pig, I think. The liver exploded.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this somewhere before, but it seemed right to mention it here too.

O i will. Biology has been boring all year so this will spruce it up. The only thing i wish is if we got to disect a shark like the AP biology kids
