Turanga Leela is the ship Captain for the Planet Express run by Professor Farnsworth. Her parents are mutants that live in the sewer.She also has one eye. Fry has a passionate love for her but Leela just won't show any back.

Leela is kickass cool. She doesn't show Fry any love coz she has a deep rooted fear that if she lets him close he'll abandon and/or hurt her.

I think Leela is wicked. Her 'hiiiiya' before she does a keratee chop is hilarious and she is strong! Also funny.

I love this character, she is so funny yet so serious about her work as being a captain. And I love the way she always blows Fry off.

I can safely say Leela is the sexiest character on the show, and the most serious. I can see Leela getting all like Nina Williams on her enemies. Snapping their bones, leaving them to writhe in agony on the floor.
