Ive seen a few people on chatrooms speaking elvish......Wierd. Did tolkien even make an elvish lanquage???...I thought the actors just made it up!

Yes, Tolkien did make two Elvish languages... Sindarin (grey elven) and Quenya(high elven). It says about them in the indices of the book (If you have them as separately it is either a separate book or at the end of ROTK) I only know that cos Will told me btw. I am not obsessed with LOTR thant much!

Ive read the book..it is in one HUGE volume...but i dont remember the elvish lanquage being discussed at any great length....But i will look in the back of the book to see the translation. Not that im going to bone up on it
