Going back to her teen years, slightly. It's like she's asking not to be the boss which I find a little mixed up. I don't see myself as a boss, but I'm not asking to be treated like a dog on a short leash.

As far as main characters go, Leela is probably my 2nd least favorite (after Hermes), but she's the one I can relate to most. It's weird. The Valentine's Day ep, when they go to Milwaukee to get the candy hearts...yeah. That's me. LOL

Leela totally rocks. Its like, she can't quite believe that Fry could actually love her, because every other guy she's been with has been a jerk and she doesn't see how an idiot like Fry could be any different. Deep down she knows she loves Fry but she's scared that if she lets him get close he'll leave and/or hurt her and that'd break her heart. So she plays it safe, keeping him at arms length, yet what she doesn't relise is that she's hurting herself and Fry because of it.

For godsake are you all blind! Leela loves Fry even when he's himself, its blantatly obvious from:
1. The sting, you can't fake feelings in a coma
2. A flight to remember, hello people there was jealousy flying all over the place
3. The end of the why of Fry, it wasn't as obvoius but you can tell the feelings are there.
4. Hello, think a while, Leela has been hurt by lots of high ranking a**h*les and one guy who was like Fry, so in her mind how the hell can Fry be better. She knows she loves him but she's afraid to show it incase he turns and hurts her, she's afraid! The loves there Fry just needs to show her that he won't hurt her.

Let me ask you something. Do you think Leela is better off with a spineless loser from the 20th century, or somebody bad ass and cool, someone she can depend on? If there's any possible way somebody can start a fan fiction that enables our own personal scripts, you'll see how Ryvul is truly more deserving to Leela than Fry. I've written many fan fic scripts over the years, and I'd like to share them with you.

For god sake Ryvul, think will ya! Leela can depend on Fry! What ever he does, he always does his best for Leela. He doesn't need to be kickass or cool, he cares you moron, he cares! So what if he's a little dim at times, Leela sure as hell isn't perfect. She's snappy and arrogant and picky and she's hurt Fry more times then I can count, but he LOVES her so he carries on trying. He LOVES her, she LOVES him, but she's to SCARED to tell him because she's afraid of getting hurt. Now you can delude yourself all you like that you'd be better for Leela than Fry but IT ISN'T GONNA HAPPEN. Fry and Leela forever.

You have yet to read my scripts in the Fan Script section, and then maybe you'll reconsider. I'm just trying to have others see my perspective of the show. I don't mean any harm. This is just my opinion, I don't think Fry's right for Leela. Ryvul is.

Here's my Ninja Turtle difference.

Ryvul is like Leo the fearless warrior, someone Leela can count on.

Fry is like Mikey the party animal, always lying around in the food he eats watching TV.

Put yourself in Leela's place. If you were to choose between these two, who would it be?

Look Ryvul, I've read your scripts, and though they're okay I think that in some bits Leela is way OOC in the way she treats Fry and Bender. I know that Leela's smart (if you call sleeping with Branigan smart) and Fry's dumb (if you call moving the stars to make a love note dumb), I also know that Leela is stronger and tidyer than Fry, but have you ever heard 'Opposites Attract' or 'Love conquers All'? Now I am tellling you that for all his faults, Fry is a good guy. He cares, hes loyal, for gods sake, how many guys would put up with all the crap Fry has and still keep trying. Fry and Leela complete eachother, and I can tell you why Leela wouldn't be happy with some kickass cyber borg thing, its like magnets, to poles that are the same repel eachother, Leela'd get bored, there'd be no spark or challenge to the relationship, no real romance. Leela doesn't need someone to protect her, she needs someone that she can protect and who she knows will always be there for her if she does need them. Leela needs Fry. Not Zapp, not Adlai, not Alkazar, not Sean, not Chaz, not even a kickass mutant cyborg, Leela needs Fry. End of.

'Fraid not. Having a cyborg on the team would add thrill and excitement. Ryvul only attacks when Leela tells him to, or for his own safety. Relationships work better if you have much more in common with one another. Leela has tought Ryvul the art of Ninjitsu, and with such skills, they can always count on each other. What does Fry know about defending himself? Exactly. Nothing. Remember that episode when Leela says "You tricked me into marrying you!" and stuffs the bouquet in Fry's mouth. You can rant me all you want, but this is how I see fit.

I'm not trying to rant you, I'm just saying. I know that Fry isn't exactly the toughest or the smartessed but let me explain one thing which means I beat you. Fry is actualy in the series, the whole show if basically about Fry, Leela and Bender. Ryvul isn't. SO even if you think Ryvul would be better for Leela, it doesn't matter because we're not gonna find out, AND we've succeeded in turning a thread about Leela into a massive arguement about if she should go out with a character in the show or one you made up in an OOC delusional story.
