I'm a christian and I have read the bible... but i don't believe it's correct word for word... for one thing bits may have been translated wrongly... but yeah... not all word for word true!

But to say someone is wrong if they don't believe it....and you haven't read it....is just weird!!!

He was a good friend....real old...real sick....un-educated....he passed away a few months after our discussion and I gave a little speech at his wake.....

Well....um...simply put....

Your anger at the world has left you an easy answer.
There is no god.
You, my friend, have as little proof there is no god as others have that there is....

Any 'true' atheist' could easily dis-prove the existence of 'god'....as if you had proof....

I use the same reason with people who 'know' there IS a god....

For my part...and I don't enjoy discussing this.....I am agnostic....a rather simple term, designed for people who requore labels....

I have proof of neither side....whatever is....is.

To sya there is no god is as ridiculous as saying there is....

That's the simple, simple, simple starting point of my theological diatribe...

Oh...by the way...faith is VERY important.

I have faith in my friends and family.
And I have hope.....

I see I have been using the wrong term for what I believe.

I agree with you every which way I guess since someone told me I was an atheist I used it as if I was. I know what it means but I did not know there was another term.

Ther term being "Agnostic".

See thats all I needed to know.

You have to ask yourself...

If I can so easily adhere to what people tell me, should I form a steadfast opinion???

You have time, at your age, to wonder...and think...and figure it all out...for yourself.

I, myself, am VEHEMENTLY anti organised religion...but that's just me....

And remeber....I'm a huge fan of people of TRUE faith.

TRUE FAITH.
