I can't wait to get this its going to be so hard there only going to send 200,000 to Europe and U.s and Eb games isnt taking reserves.

The First 2 Games I'm going to get are

Call of Duty 3 and Tony Hawk Project 8

who cares how much they send out??? i mean seriously theyre launch consoles i learned my mistake after buying the 360 on launch i payed for a live membership and 2 months of it got wasted cuz LAUNCH CONSOLES SUX want me to tick down the problems???? just wait a while im a huge supporter of sony and all but the only launch console that will e worth ne thing is the WII bcuz of some of the older hardware theyre using and even then theres probably gonna b some problems but 180$ on something glitchy is better than 600$!

u sure? i mean ive done a lot of study and im in school 4 a bachelors in game design and every1 here says from 6-8 hundred and the person sittin next 2 me is buying 1 on launch and has the watchyamacallit reserve plan thing and she's paying 600+tax

stats are about equall overall' saying things are different but overall they should technically be worth the same (360 and ps3) xbox has better graphics ps2 has better running hardware so on and so on the big thing in ps3's price jump is the fact that the kit used to make stuff is like 1 mil as opposed to 360 having a cheaper 1 i think its somewhere around 200,000 but dont quote me on that and nintendos roughly what like 1-3 grand and that is gonna mean way less games for the ps3 as well and as to waiting 4 the price 2 drop thats just my point WAIT the hardware will improve and the price will drop

Living in Switzerland I'm fumming over the latest news that Sony is going to make it harder/impossible to import early units from America. Why is Europe always last for these things, my Xbox 360 was late, my PSP, oh well, we have cooler cell phones though.

If you look at stats X-Box is better than ps2 couse it was released later. But when X-Box360 was released know one even knew what ps3 was gonna look like. Xbox has not got enough memory. ps3 will have a better processor, better graphiks. So theres no question what to byu unless you want Halo that evens the gap up. But not enough.

I've never been a big fan of the titles released exclusively for the PS2. I have to go with The_Black_Smoke_Monster on this one, HALO baby! PS3 specs are just hype until I have it front of me, remember the PS2 promised real-time rendering but never delivered.

You know I started to but I have to download them because the show isn't syndicated here yet. Good show though, I've seen the first 8 episodes. The only thing I find strange is, no ones appearance changes. Jacks beard is like trapped in some stubble time warp. Charlie, is there a beautician that we don't know about on the island and don't get me started on Jorge, what is this guy eating the corpses cuz I don't see any all-you-can-eat buffets on the beach, I mean he hasn't lost a pound.

update on the game creation engines (developer kits) for x-box 360 and playstation 3
360-9,000$
ps3-1.5million$
WII-1-3,000$
all us currency
this is why we wont be seeing many games for the playstation which is a big detriment to sony

says the numbers. sony just lost there biggest contract with square enix because of the cost of the kit when it cost 9,000 to nake games on an almost equally system as opposed to ONE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS do the match the companys want to SAVE MONEY not spend it

alright dont get me wrong im getting a ps3 (once they work out the kinks that all launch systems have) but we still wont be seing much in the way of games for a while they will over time get bigger and bigger tho and after having the system out for a year is probably when we'll start seing games
its gonna b a pain ta get a launch system tho b-cuz the system failure rate is 22 and the us is only scheduled for 100,000 copies distributed b-cuz of so many system problems

I posted this in the Wii section. My thoughts on the new consoles apply here as well, so I thought I'd quote myself:

I might do...ive always been a playstation person...but sony do tend to rip people off!! Although it hasnt even been released in th u/k yet anyway.
Is it true people were shooting other people to rob there ps3 off them when it was released in LA? I heard that somewhere..cant remeber where tho!
