Hang on. If it is released "universally" on that date, does that mean us here in Australia get it about 10 hours before the rest of the world, if they have a 12am (midnight) show?

About time we get something before everyone else. We just started the 18th season of The Simpsons for shit's sake!

Although it says 2D... Ive seen the trailer and it looks different.. It looks 3d some how but anyway cant wait till the movie is out.. Homer rocks

ya i dont know many cartoons that are in 3d. i mean there are a few but futurama and the simpsons arent. except in that simpsons episode where homer goes to the 3rd dimension

No no no.......Futurama has always used 3-D animation. Look at the opening!!

They talk about it a lot in interviews and in the commentaries too.
There's adifference between what you are all thinking it is and what it is.....

Not CGI, 3-D....
